The President of Jinhua Polytechnic Yijun Zhong Led Delegation to Visit Three Higher Education Institutions in Australia and New Zealand

Recently, the President of Jinhua Polytechnic, Yijun Zhong, led a delegation group and visited Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand, TAFE Queensland Brisbane, and the University of Queensland in Australia. Interscholastic cooperation and teachers training were discussed during the visit.

President of Jinhua Polytechnic, Yijun Zhong, signed the teachers training agreement with the President of Waikato Institute of Technology, Mark.

  

In Waikato Institute of Technology, the two parties had broad discussion in regards to docking collaborative programs with NZQA standards, such as applied technology of electronics, computer application technology, computer networking technology, civil engineering technology, and model design and manufacture. They also talked about giving students diploma from New Zealand, as well as the course, standards, and funding aspects of faculty training. After the negotiation, the two parties signed faculty training agreement. Teachers that complete the training will receive certificate from WIT. While the delegation was there, they sat in information technology and mechanical engineering classes, and visited relevant training bases.

The delegation of Jinhua Polytechnic visited TAFE Queensland Brisbane in Australia.


The Technology College belongs to TAFE Queensland Brisbane. TAFE Queensland Brisbane is one of the biggest and most experienced occupational education and training center in Queensland State. The Technology College is the second largest college of TAFEQB, as well as the most successful public educational institution. During the visit, the two parties made in-depth discussion about veterinarian training system, talents raising model and goals, and course development. The two parties signed Memorandum of Intent, and made preliminary agreement on building training center based in Jinhua Polytechnic.  

Queensland University is one of the eighth Ivy League universities in Australia. It is also the first comprehensive university in Queensland State. The delegation of Jinhua Polytechnic visited the mechanical college, studentsstudy lounge, and training bases. The delegation also made discussion with QUs officials in regards to interscholastic cooperation.

The successful visit made by the delegation will help to expand and deepen the cooperation between Jinhua Polytechnic and universities in Oceania, as well as increase the international influence of Jinhua Polytechnic.
